The Beginning

So it has begun, the wedding planning is well underway with Alex taking the reigns. After much back and forth we decided on where to have the wedding. November 15, 2014 first came around because we wanted to have a fall wedding in Asheville North Carolina. We heard that fall was beautiful out there and the location was close to our current home in Fayetteville. After much discussion about pros and cons we changed our mind to Jamaica. The date still worked out perfectly, November in Jamaica makes for a warm tropical weather without too much rain.

As you can see from this engagement photo, we were expecting a North Carolina wedding. Only after we took the country, outdoor, fall photos did we change our mind to Jamaica. Alex is exited because this most likely means that we will get to take more, this time with a tropical theme. 

We have started this blog so that we can keep everyone informed as the plans come along. So this is what we have for you all so far.

Wedding and Reception
The wedding will be in Kingston Jamaica on November 15, 2014. If you are coming from out of town we recommend that you stay at the Spanish Court Hotel.

Afterwards
The wedding is only one day and we are sure some of you, like us, would love to spend more time on a tropical island. So after the wedding please join us at Hotel Riu in Montego Bay. We will be staying from the 16th until the 22nd.
