Planning So Far...

Hello all, this is the bride speaking...

So, all the Save the Dates have been addressed, sealed (not licked), stamped, and sent. Yes, I know that they may be a little behind, but I got them out. and I know that after this initial hump, things are going to go swimmingly (in my head at least). I think the best thing that I got out of the couple of trips to the post office is the fact that I made some relationships there, and they now give me a discount for envelopes I send on site when they can't fit into my mailbox. ;)

(I should probably mention that the post office charging me for envelopes that I send out of the post office was a joke they were playing on me. I say I should explain this, because Stefan definitely freaked out slightly when I told him about it.)

This is Morris helping with the Save the Dates:

One thing that is difficult is that my bridesmaids are not exactly local to my location. So instead of waiting to do the initial colour picking, as we shall call it, of the bridesmaids dresses with the bridesmaids, I took the next best person (or the one who should be at least), Stefan. And Joshua, my younger brother came along. And after spending a few minutes with them, and them calling the materials "matte" (chiffon) and "shiny" (satin), and using the terms "party" and "prom", they were soon out of the colour picking club, and I realized that I was in this alone. In spite of me being the president, the vice president, the treasurer, and the secretary of the colour picking club, a decision was made, and I am happy with it...up to this point at least...I'm hoping that I don't change my mind.

As you receive the save the dates, you will notice that there is a frog on the back. "What does this frog mean"? You might ask, and the thing about the frog is something that goes back to our first date. It is something that some may think is lovey dovey, mushy gushy, and weird. And I guess it kind of is?

I will let you be the judge of that:

So the story of Buddha Bob the Happy Frog (as he was named), is about our first date. On our first date we went to the Discovery Place in Charlotte, and there was an exhibit of critters. So as we walked through the exhibit, we saw the many buggies, and the several frogs, but one frog stuck out to us. It was Buddha Bob the Happy Frog!! He was the happiest, chubbiest tree frog I have ever seen! And from that day on, the frog had been a kind of a significant symbol in our relationship. No there are not millions of frog decorations hanging from out wall, but every time we see a cute frog thing, it just causes one of us (usually me) to yell out "Look, it's Buddha the Happy Frog"!

Buddha Bob the Happy Frog:

So that is the story of Buddha Bob the Frog, and the planning up to this point. Doesn't seem like a lot, but I promise that there is more going on that what I mentioned today.

Thanks for reading!

Have a great day!!
